The School has an opportunity for an EALTeacher to join our EAL department in September
- The main role of the EAL Department is helping to ensure a significant, noticeable
and measurable increase in the English language proficiency of students for whom English
is not a first language.
The successful candidate will have experience of teaching IGCSE ESL and IELTS. A
background in GCSE/A-level Business Studies/Economics, Maths and/or Science is desirable
but not essential. QTS is desirable but not essential, although a standard entry-level TESOL
qualification (e.g. a CELTA or equivalent) and a minimum of two years’teaching experience
is required as a minimum for this post.
