get around. You’ll need a rooted device, and you’ll
needtodownloadanappfromtheGooglePlaystore.
There’s nothing complex here, you won’t need to do
muchmorethaninstallingtheapponyourdeviceand
it shouldn’t take you more than a couple of minutes to
get ever ything up and running. So grab your phone or
tablet,pointittothePlayStoreandlet’sgetstarted.
Go back to the drop-down menu and
select User Gestures. This is where you can
create your own gestures to quickly access
different parts of your phone. To do this, simply
tap record and then draw out the gesture that
youwouldliketouse.
4 Draw your gesture
Next you need to choose an action for
your gesture. This can be as simple as opening
an app or as complex as taking a screenshot.
Explore the different options open to you by
tapping through the menu that pops up. When
you’re happy select the one that suits you.
5 Pick the action
First up you’ll need to search the Google
Play store for Good Mood Droid Gesture
Controls. Grab the free version first, because,
as with all root-only software, there’s a chance
that it won’t work on your device. If you like what
you see you can always upgrade.
1 Download the app
When you first start up the app, it’ll ask
you for superuser access. Grant it. If everything
goes well that’s all the tweaking you will need
to do. Your phone or tablet will take some time
to process this though, but when it stops you
will be good to go.
2 Enable access
First familiarise yourself with the long list
of gestures that are pre-installed. Try a few out
to make sure everything’s working. If anything
seems awry, check the settings in the Advanced
section of the drop-down menu. When you’re
happy, it’s time to make your own gestures.
3 Read the gesture list

starts, which means you can have a much larger
number of gestures than on an iPad. It’s easy to
play around with the different features and
options on offer and create personalised
gestures that work for you.
