ball joint playcan be detectedby levering
between the diff bracket and the arms.

This rubbergaitor between the joint

housing and the diff bracket was split,

necessitating renewal of the joint assembly.

Check around theback by feel.

Two parts inone

The fulcrum bracket and ball joint are
replaced as a unit because thestandard
bracket is inexpensive. Not so wherea
self-le veller isfi tted (see panel, p.149)
