Unique iftar
RAMADAN IS ALMOST here, and from traditional iftars
to set menus at high-end eateries, you can choose
to break your fast in all kinds of ways. But The St.
Regis Abu Dhabi will be offering one of the most
unusual. This year, the hotel will be serving iftar in
The Abu Dhabi Suite (the world’s highest suspended
suite at 220m) every Thursday, Friday and Saturday
during the Holy Month. It costs Dhs320 per
person and is served from sundown to 9.30pm.
Reservations must be made in advance as the suite
only holds 50 people.

Zhivago Duncan.

A celebrity chef is about to bring exciting
new Áavours to Abu Dhabi. Lebanese
television personality Joe Barza will be
cooking at the Shangri-La, Qaryat al-Beri
from May 3-8. Known for fusion cuisine
and a contemporary take on Lebanese
food, he will be in residence at Sofra BLD.
