Who wouldn’t want this pair of cool
Mopars parked in their garage?
Thomas Costello is the lucky owner
of these two — a ’74 Plymouth
Duster and a ’72 Plymouth Cuda

Prize-giving was held mid-afternoon, with several
awards being handed out. The judges certainly
had their work cut out due to the sheer number
of vehicles to be judged. As soon as the last
award had been presented, people started to
leave, ending what could only be described as an
absolute blockbuster of a day.
“We want to thank every business, every family, and
every organization that has shown its support,” said
Craig Watson, one of the volunteers. “When we
started out six months ago, we never could have
imagined the level of support that has been shown
for this inaugural local event. We are a very small
team of volunteers, and have worked tirelessly for
the past few months to deliver a pretty exciting
product that we are really proud of.”
The committee put a fantastic day together for
Selwyn — so much so that we had to wonder
how it would pull off a better event next year.
However, if this first event is a gauge of what these
volunteers are capable of, we’re left in no doubt
that if it can be done, it will!
