08: DESIGN CREER HOUSE
LOCATION RANDWICK, SYDNEY
Superior joinery is an aesthetic function of the
ample storage incorporated in the large open-
plan kitchen of this modern abode. Sleek,

glossy white cabinets run perpendicular to the
blonde timber cabinetry that hides the butler’s
pantry and fridge in a contrast of warm
on white. Stainless-steel appliances and a
mirrored splashback give the room shine, while

an open-frame island off ers yards of marble
benchtop to work on and a casual place for
dining. The overall space is light and airy, with
a sophisticated appeal that harmonises with
the clean lines of the home.

09: DESIGN BLANCHARD HOUSE
LOCATION COATESVILLE, NEW ZEALAND
Located on private acreage amid a rolling
landscape in the north-western suburb of
Coatesville, an area known for its European-
infl uenced aesthetic, the luxury fi nishes of
this glamorous kitchen are hard to ignore. A
commitment to quality is evident in the fi ner
details of the space, and a neutral colour
palette paves the way for the liberal use of
marble, metallic and colour accents. The
bespoke fi ttings, fi nishes and cabinetry form
a distinct space that is an interesting mix
of masculine lines with feminine fi nishes. A
solid marble kitchen island provides the only
counter space. Its waterfall sides form the
perfect seating niche, which is lined in gold-
coloured metal panels that match the cabinetry
hardware. Sleek stainless-steel appliances
complete this high-end kitchen.
