05: DESIGN LAVA TIVOLI TERRACE
LOCATION PADDINGTON, SYDNEY
The old adage about the worst house in the best street was
indeed true for this Paddington home, in its original state,
before architect Chris Bosse snapped it up and weaved his
magic. The home, on a petite 70-square-metre block, was
given a complete renovation, with scene-stealing touches
gracing every room. In the kitchen, a custom pendant light
designed by Chris complements a curvy kitchen island
that was crafted by a manufacturer in China. The right
lighting adds ambience and warmth and can also make a
design statement. In the loungeroom, a Louis Poulsen PH
5 pendant light adds a playful touch, complementing the
prolifi c use of timber and the white colour palette.
