You can see why this area looks
similar to the High Country!

FACT FILE

WHERE
Bunyip State Park is about 65km east of Melbourne just near
the little town of Gembrook
CAMPING
Organised campsites are available at the Nash Creek CS.
There are basic facilities as well as toilets in a very well
organised and cared for location.
WHAT TO TAKE
This is a true weekender location and you really only need to
take basic recovery gear and enough food and fuel for a day’s
wheeling. You are always within cooee of towns and there is
mobile coverage.
BEST TIME TO TRAVEL
Winter rains sees these tracks turn virtually undriveable by
all but the most insane rigs. Dry conditions will still test most
people. You know your rig and your capabilities...choose your
own adventure.
FUEL AND SUPPLIES
The town of Gembrook is your best bet for last minute top ups
or to refuel after sitting on the limiter all day!
DON’T TRAVEL HERE WITHOUT
Recovery gear and a good working winch – you are going to
use both here!
