86cm (34in) square x 70cm

Note: Read all the instructions
before starting the project.
Requirements are based on
fabrics 107cm (42in) wide.

It is recommended that
fabrics be 100% cotton,
pre-washed and well ironed.
The appliqué method is
raw-edge fusible appliqué
attached with machined
straight stitch in contrasting
thread, but you can use
your preferred method.
Instructions are given for
using the Pattern Sheet
in the magazine, but as
an alternative, you can
download the patterns
from http://www.homespun,net.au
and print them out.

Before you begin
Check your table’s dimensions


  • this cover was designed
    to fit a standard card table,
    but it can be adapted for any
    square or rectangular table.
    Add^1 ⁄ 2 in to the height and 1in
    to the length and width of
    your table’s dimensions for
    seam allowances. The cutting
    measurements given here
    include the seam allowances.
    If you are using a larger
    or smaller table, the fabric
    quantities will also need to
    be adjusted accordingly.
