SISU BOUTIQUE,

MARBELLA

SO WHAT’S GOING ON
HERE, THEN?
This adults-only escape
in Puerto Banus hosts some
of Marbella’s best parties at
its Tattoo Geisha Day Club
& Night Lounge (OK,
ignore the silly name) and
gorgeous Sushisha rooftop
bar. Think red tulip chairs
in the lounge, modern
rooms and pool-view suites
with a Jacuzzi on the private
terrace – and if you’re

travelling with friends,
there are three-bedroom
apartments, too. Twenty-
four-hour room service
means even if you get the
munchies at 5am
you’re in luck. Sisu
VIP service allows
you to go all Mariah
Carey if you get the
urge – they’ll fix
everything from
hiring a yacht to
airport transfers and
security personnel
(worth considering if
you’re trying to put
distance between
you and that clingy
holiday fling).

AND WHAT’S THE
CROWD LIKE?
International, but plenty of
Brits. Marbs knows how to
party, for sure, but Sisu
attracts a particularly larger-
than-life, designer-loving
crowd – expect girls to be
rocking serious swimwear,
from labels like Gucci and
Vuitton. It attracts
celebrities, too, from
Tinie Tempah
to Mark
Wright
and the
Made In
Chelsea
lot.

WHAT
SHOULDN’T
I MISS?
The Feels Like
Miami Saturday
rooftop party is
a must; monthly
Love Juice is a
champagne-fuelled
house-music party around
the pool and goes on until
3.30am; and the Thank
Fuck It’s Friday (who comes
up with these names?) pool
party does what it says on
the tin. When you’re
not dancing, you
can make new
friends in the
20-person
Jacuzzi or
recline on a
circular day
bed (a word
of warning: you
have to book
these, but group rates
are available and packages
can include drinks).

AND WHEN I’M DONE
WITH ALL THAT?
If you can make it, find
sustenance at the al fresco,
decked breakfast terrace

(wear shades, the all-white
decor is blinding), but
if you can’t face leaving
your bed, order breakfast
from room service, then
relax in your on-terrace
Jacuzzi. And you’re only
a few hundred yards from
the golden-sand beach of
Puerto Banus, so hang out
for the afternoon and aim
to wipe out your hangover
with a you’re-going-to-get-
dunked-in-the-sea banana-
boat ride. Have an evening
off and stroll to the glitzy
nearby marina for gourmet
tapas, like prawns in sherry,
at La Moraga. i
