YOU WILL NEED
EDIBLES:


  • 60g Rice Krispie treats (RKT)

  • 250g Ready to Roll sugarpaste:
    white (Renshaw)

  • 100g Ready to Roll sugarpaste:
    grey (Renshaw)

  • 80g Ready to Roll sugarpaste:
    fl esh (Renshaw)

  • 15g Ready to Roll sugarpaste:
    red (Renshaw)

  • 15g white fl ower/modelling
    paste (Renshaw)

  • edible pen: red metallic
    (Magic Colours)

  • metallic paint: blue
    (Magic Colours)

  • edible colour dusts: black pearl,
    silver, gold and pearl ivory
    (Magic Colours)

  • royal icing (Renshaw)

  • 2 x thin skewers to support head
    and for his staff


EQUIPMENT:


  • small rolling pin

  • scalpel

  • bone and Dresden tools

  • sugar glue and brush

  • small scissors

  • medium dusting brush

  • small parchment icing bag

  • no.1.5 piping tip

  • small damp paint brush to
    correct any royal icing mistakes

  • texture mat for his coat

  • knitting mould (Karen Davies)

  • Christmas mould
    (Katy Sue Designs)


Scandinavian and Nordic designs are all about simplicity so the equipment and supplies list
are kept to a minimum, as are the colours although you could create this Santa in any colour
combination to suit your Christmas décor. He makes the perfect Christmas cake topper or
table decoration and you could spray glaze and keep him for next year as well!
