his month we take a look

at some of the accessories

we received at Nuremberg.

Starting with the 1/48 scale

Airix Deiant which comes in

for the CMK treatment, with two

seats available in the CMK Quick

and Easy Line, a cockpit set and

fantastic engine set in the CMK

accessory line. The Merlin engine

is particularly impressive and

with careful painting will really

look the part. In 1/72 scale the

Hasegawa Dewoitine D-520 also

receives some interesting update

sets, if you were to use all of them

you will not have much of the

original kit plastic left! The other

stand out set, for me is also in 1/72

scale is the engine and cockpit

set for the Eduard Avia B-534. I

am certainly looking forward to

using these on my next Avia build.

There is only one 1/32 scale

accessory this month and it is a

kit in its right of a MA-1A USAF

start cart. This starter cart was

introduced into service in the

1950s so will sit nicely with a

number of USAF jets in a diorama.
