Not all indoor fun is about jumping around,

sometimes kids (or, ahem, us parents) are

looking for something a bit more mellow. One

of the best activities for young ones to do

indoors is art.

Founded in 2005, thejamjar is a community

arts space that promotes artists and supports

the development of UAE’s arts scene through

its extensive programme. Kids aged three plus

will learn all about complementary colours

and pop art, celebrating some of the most

famous artist in the world. They’ll create print-

like artworks using their hands and creativity.

As for thejamjar’s Young Artist Programme

(YAP), it’s designed for kids aged eight to

14, where they’re encouraged to use varied

techniques to express themselves. Lots of

creative energy flowing there...

Easily one of the most brilliant experiences

ecosystem to meet more than 3,000 plants

indoor man-made and life-sustaining tree.

It’s fun, but also educational, with plenty of

programmes. Don’t forget to experience the

Australian wildlife and watch piranhas feed on
