inside VR Park, you’ll be taken to distant

planets, the distant future and the not-so-

distant world of a fully virtualised Dubai, in

a series of games that have been specially

designed with some of the world’s top VR

production houses.

VR Park is also designed to slowly and

safely introduce kids to virtual reality, with

experiences like Geminose, a soft-play

carousel area that gently rotates while the

little sprogs get transported through a fantasy

world of flying unicorns, pink bunnies and lots

of lovely, heart-warming vibes.

Abu Dhabi

Action Zone

One of the oldest play centres in Abu Dhabi,

Action Zone is keeping up with the times,

while still maintaining those old-school vibes

• and it’s now open at The Mall at World Trade
  Center, too.

This is one of Abu Dhabi’s most fun-filled

play centres, with plenty of zones hosting

different activities to suit different tastes. Kids

aged three to nine can spend the time of their

lives at any of the zones, including Kidzone,

which is home to the most colourful of ball

pools, obstacle courses and climbing areas.

Tots will enjoy the Little Stars zone,

equipped with a motion sand table, dress up

area, art-based VR games and much more.

There’s also a trampoline zone for kids

aged three and up, and a VR zone for older

kids with the latest in gaming.

Cinema Space

Yes, there are the family movie nights we

all know and love, but if you don’t feel like

splashing out on seeing the latest Hollywood

blockbuster (the cost of popcorn alone can be

eye-popping), Cinema Space is the place for

you. The independent, volunteer-led initiative

shares beautifully restored classics and

contemporary world cinema favourites on the

big screen for free. And fear not, there’s a

dedicated Family Programme, too.

Fabyland

From the Family Swing and XD Dark Ride

to Clip N Climb and bumper cars, Fabyland

is filled with cool play. With an array of

amusement rides, attractions, and games, any

child will tell you that they love spending time

at this indoor attraction.

Spread across 75,000 sq ft, the

entertainment centre has 15 major rides, a

MyTown area for kids to play and learn, more

than 100 game machines, and a 30x30

trampoline, making it one of the largest

family entertainment centres in the UAE for

kids aged three and up. You’ll feel like you’re

stepping into a futuristic fun fair.
