A COLOURFUL KIDS’ haven has just been added

to Dubai’s extensive list of family-friendly

spots. Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites’

Rixy Kids Club is the city’s new hotspot for

little ones, with separate zones for kiddies of

all ages to find their own fun in.

Toddler Town is an area for tiny tots aged

zero to four years old. They can get creative

in the colourful activity room, which will help

them gain spatial awareness.

Mums can recharge at the Baby Chamber,

an air-conditioned changing room where they

can also feed their babies in total privacy.

Professional nannies and certified babysitters

are on-hand, and kids catch their forty winks

in the very comfortable-looking Nap Room.

The babysitting service is also available

New kids’ club opens at Rixos The Palm

for hotel guests, family members of Rixos

Club Membership and Privilee members for

Dhs125 per hour, per child.

Older kids aged five to 12 also get to have

fun at Rixy Kids Club’s Junior Town, which

is filled with stimulating art and science

activities, and home to an outdoor shaded

pool with splash zones and

water slides.

Plus, they can watch and

perform at the UAE’s first

in-hotel amphitheatre

dedicated to young ones.

There, mini musicians,

dancers and actors will take

part in role-play and watch

their favourite family movies.

There are hip-hop lessons for kids, as well as

rhythm edutainment (drumming sessions) and

Zumba. Plus, musical games at the Rixy Disco

• where there are also set to be magic shows
  staged. How exciting...

Budding athletes can exercise at Rixy Club’s

Kids Sports Academy, while tiny chefs and

artists will have plenty to do,

including rolling maki, making

pizzas, painting the shores

of the Palm and even making

dolls and building cities.
