6.2.1.2 Use of the Dispute Settlement Mechanism by China and the EU
As of March 31, 2013, there were 41 disputes to which China was a party under the
dispute settlement mechanism, among which 11 and 30 disputes involved com-
plaintsfiled by and against China respectively, showing that the disputes involving
complaintsfiled against China were three times those involving complaintsfiled by
China. There were 160 disputes to which the EU was a party, among which 87 and
7314 disputes involved complaints filed by and against the EU respectively,
