one more than last year. Many

went to press 381ftUlyssesand
350ftBlack Pearlwere scheduled
forimminentdelivery.
Thereisawelcomestabilityto
production of 300ft-plus yachts.
Lürssen, for example, has seven
projects exceeding 328ft in build –
an unprecedented situation.
The smallest categories – under
120ftandespecially90-119ft–have
also seen success. Semi-custom
builders are focusing on them,
creating or redesigning many
series. Most of these projects are
builtonspeculation,butsmaller
superyachts are also becoming
morepopularwithownerswho
want a limited number of crew.
