Buying guide: MkII Big Fords
The six-cylinder engine in the MkII Zephyr and Zodiac is a long-lasting workhorse providing it's been serviced correctly. Rust can attack the tops of the
suspension towers on these cars, so check this area carefully for poor repairs or any sign of hidden corrosion about to break through the paintwork.
Like the top of the range Zodiac, the six-cylinder Zephyr had a full width grille with vertical sidelights.
Although convertible models are rare and expensive, they look good and are now highly desirable.
