Add Links

You can highlight any area and add hyperlinks. Choose any color for the highlighted area, set mouse-over and mouse-down color. Add hyperlinks or set it to jump to any page of the publication. See below how!

  1. Hit the icon of "Link" from the upper left toolbar, then the link area will appear on the page.

  2. Click, hold and drag the link area to the location where you want to add hyperlink.

  3. Set the detailed information of the link area on the right side panel. Change the color to highlight your hyperlink. Click "Action" to select the action type. You can link to a page or a website. Select "Go to page" and enter the page number if you want to link this page to another page within your publication. Click "Open a Link" and enter a URL, then you can open a website by clicking the link area.

Add Highlight Elements

You can also add other highlight elements such as arrow, square, triangle, circle and star. Choose the different styles, set line width, color, fill color, opacity or add action.

To insert an element:

  1. Click the Element icon from the toolbar, then a drop-down menu of elements will appear.

  2. Select the element, and it will appear on your page. Move it to the desired place and resize it.

  3. On the right side panel, you can change the color and click the Add Action "+" button to choose the action for the selected element.

Add Icons

We offer more than 1000 icons for you to choose. You can also change the icon color, opacity and add action.

To insert an icon:

  1. Click the icon button from the top toolbar to open a new window. The pop-up window contains 1394 icons.

  2. Click on the search box. An input command will be automatically created for you. Type the keyword, and it will show all related icons.

  3. Double click the icon, then it will appear on your page. Select the icon, then you can edit the color or add action.

Add Callout

Add callout to better illustrate any part of your content. Customize callout style, text color, etc. as you like.

To add a callout:

  1. Click the callout button, a drop-down menu will appear. 

  2. There are three styles, you can choose the one you need. 

  3. Double click it to enter text. Under the setting tab you can set Border, Fill, Font parameters and Add Action.

Add Text

Add text to any part of your publication. Customize background color, text color, font size, etc.

To add text:

  1. Click the Text icon, then the text box will appear. Double click to edit the text. Simply drag the sizing handles on the left or right to adjust its size according to your needs.

  2. You can choose the font color and background color on the right side menu. Scroll to choose a number, or enter the font size and hit enter on your keyboard to see the changes on your page.

Add Image

Add your local image or any online image with a URL. Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. 

To insert an image:

  1. Click the Image button on the top toolbar to open the upload window.

  2. You can choose to upload a file from your computer. By clicking "Upload", a window will pop-up, and you can then select the file from your computer. The image will appear on your page. Or you can click the Url button, enter the link of the image, then click the upload button to add the image.

  3. Simply click to select the image, then move and drag it into position. We also provide 8 different styles on the right side panel. You can also adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. 

    Please note: Each image should be in JPEG, JPG or PNG format, and should be 2MB or less.

Add Background Music

Add your local music or any online music. Set it auto play or play in loop. It's a great way to keep readers engaged with your content for a longer period of time. Keep reading to find out how.

  1. Select the page where you want to add background music. Click the Music icon on the toolbar.

  2. There are two types in the drop-down menu, you can add a music player or a sound button. The Upload Audio window will appear on the top. Click the Upload button, you can search and select the audio file you want to upload from your computer. Or you can add the online audio by entering the URL of the audio.

  3. The music player or sound button will appear on the page, select it, then you can change its size and move it. If you insert the music player, then you can change the color, title and turn the autoplay on and off as you like.

    Please note: An audio file must not exceed 4MB.

Add Video

Embed YouTube video or Vimeo video to your publication. You just need to copy&paste the video ID(the number at the end of the video url). Set it auto play or play in loop.

To add a video:

  1. Select the page in which you would like to embed the video.

  2. Click the Video icon and choose the YouTube or Vimeo icon. A thumbnail of the video will appear on the page. You can then move it to your desired place and resize it as necessary. 

  3. Enter the video ID from YouTube or Vimeo on the right side panel.

How to get a YouTube video ID?

  1. The video ID will be located in the URL of the video page, right after the v= URL parameter.

    The URL of the video is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YS8Snd41pVw. Therefore, the ID of the video is YS8Snd41pVw.

  2. The youtu.be URLs are created by generating a URL intended for sharing. The video ID is part of the URL itself.

    The URL of the video is: https://youtu.be/YS8Snd41pVw. Therefore, the ID of the video is YS8Snd41pVw.

How to get a Vimeo video ID?

  1. To find the Video ID, go to the Vimeo page and find the video you want to put on your page.

  2. Once it is loaded, look at the URL and look for the numbers that come after the slash (/). This number is the Video ID.

    The URL of the video is: https://vimeo.com/235928595. Therefore, the ID of the video is 235928595.


Add Chart

Add chart and edit your number easily. 

To create a chart:

  1. Go to the toolbar, click the Chart icon, a down-drop window will appear. Choose a chart based on how you need to visualize your data. Then you will find the chart on the page.

  2. You can change the fill color on the right side panel, and we also provide 6 color styles. Click the Edit Chart Data, a pop-up window will appear. It allows you to change chart color, add column or row, and insert data manually. If you have an Excel spreadsheet in CSV format, you can import your data files from your computer. Click "Import CSV” at the top. A window will appear for you to select the file to open. 

  3. When you're satisfied with the chart, click “OK” to save it.

    Please note: The CSV file needs to have column and row headers, and at least one column of data.

Add Number

Add pre-designed number icon to make your content more clear. Customize icon color, text color, font size, opacity, etc.

To insert number icons:

  1. Click the Number list icon on the toolbar, and choose one style to add it on the page.

  2. You can change the text, font color, font size, background color and add actions on the right side panel.

Add Button

Add customizable button. Customize button color, text color, font size, opacity, etc.

To add a button:

  1. Press the Button icon on the toolbar, choose a button icon, then it will appear on the page.

  2. On the right side panel, set font properties and button style. What's more, you can click "Action +" to select an action for the button.

Arrange Objects

You can use the 4 Arrange tools above the page to layer objects. 

  1. Bring Forward - move the object forward one position in the stacking order.

  2. Send backward - move the object backward one position in the stacking order.

  3. Bring To Front - move the object to the most top of the stacking order.

  4. Send To Back - move the object to the most bottom of the stacking order.

Align Objects

The Editor provides 3 alignment icons that allow you to easily arrange and position objects.

To align two or more objects:

  1. Select the objects you want to align with. To select multiple objects at once, drag a selection box around a group of objects, or hold down the Shift key and click each of the objects you want to select. 

  2. On the toolbar, click the Align Left, Align Center or Align Right icon. The objects will align based on the option you selected.

Copy and Delete Objects

You can copy objects or delete objects that you no longer need.

To copy or delete objects:

  1. Select the object you want to copy or delete. To copy or delete a group of objects by Shift-clicking or drawing a selection box.

  2. On the toolbar, click Copy icon, all new objects will appear above the original objects.

Undo or Redo

You can easily Undo or Redo the last edit.

In the toolbar above the page, there are two arrows. The one facing left is Undo. The other one on the right is Redo. It is a simple way to delete a number of recent actions or recovery your last change.

Preview, Save and Upload

Preview: After you edit the publication, you can preview it by clicking the Preview buttonScreen Shot 2020-03-11 at 4.40.32 PM.png. There are two preview buttons. One is at the top right, another is on the bottom right corner. 

Save: Save your publication by clicking the Save button Screen Shot 2020-03-11 at 4.40.45 PM.pngat the top right. After this, your publication will be saved for future use.

Upload: Click the Upload buttonScreen Shot 2020-03-11 at 4.40.54 PM.png, then your readers will be able to see the publication.

Zoom

You can zoom in and out using the tool at the bottom left of the page when editing a publication.
