stations and frequencies in the 'Globe Wireless Radiotelex Services'
chart in ALRS Vol. 1. (Listen for the 'channel-free'signal which, in this
service, consists of 8 short 'data bursts' followed by the radio callsign of the
transmitting station, e.g., for Cape Town Radio, 'brrr brrr brrr'
(x8) followed by 'ZSC' in slow morsel.
- Call ZSC (or other chosen station in the network) using 'ARQcall'
followed by the Globe Wireless selcall number 1094 - or the callsign
XVSM - to gain connection. - Receive the 'sign-on banner' e.g., (for MV Wizard, callsign GWIZ/
