This pose targets the tissues in the feet and toes.
Risks and Contraindications
Modify this pose if you have sensitive feet or lower-back pain.
Alignment Points


  • From a standing position, bend the knees into a squat while al-
    lowing the toes to lift off the  oor as you sit back on the heels.

  • Put your hands on the  oor for balance and let the knees gently
    release onto the  oor.

  • Bring your hands to prayer, keeping the toes tucked under and
    feeling the stretch in the feet.

  • Exit the pose with mindfulness by reversing your movements.
