Raspberry, Cinnamon & Orange Gut Gummies
Recipe / The Beauty Chef, available at Nourished Life
Makes: 25 gummies

1⅓ cups cold water
2 tbsp grass-fed powdered
gelat ine
2 cups fresh or frozen
raspberries
1 stick cinnamon, broken

Zest 1 unwaxed orange
Stevia equivalent to 1½ tbsp
sugar, or to taste

Pour ¾ cup water into small bowl and sprinkle gelatine over
surface in an even layer. Set aside for 10 mins to bloom.
Combine raspberries, remaining water, cinnamon and orange
zest in small saucepan and bring to boil. Decrease heat and
simmer gently for 5 mins, or until reduced slightly and cinnamon
and orange flavour has infused.
Add gelatine mixture and stevia to hot raspberry liquid and stir
until dissolved. Strain through fine-mesh sieve into measuring
jug, using spoon to press raspberry pulp to ensure all juice is
extracted. (Avoid scraping, to prevent too many seeds being
pushed through.) If necessary, top up liquid with water to make
1½ cups. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
Sprinkle The Beauty Chef GUT PRIMER Inner Beauty Support
over cooled raspberry liquid and stir to combine.
Place ice-cube trays or silicon moulds onto trays and fill
with raspberry liquid. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until
completely set.
To unmould, briefly dip base of ice-cube trays or moulds into
boiling water to loosen — they need to warm and come close to
beginning to melt so that they will have a glossy surface when
unmoulded. Using fingertips, gently pull gummies away from
edge of moulds to release seal, then invert onto plate (or, if using
silicon moulds, push out).
Store gummies in air-tight container in fridge for up to 2
weeks. Enjoy!

1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 cup ice
2 tbsp The Beauty Chef

¾ cup hibiscus tea, chilled
¼ cup orange juice
Zest 1 unwaxed orange
Edible flowers, to serve
(optional)

Place all ingredients in high-speed blender. Blend until ice is
finely crushed, to form thick slushie-like consistency.

boilingwatertoloosen—theyneedtowarmandcomecloseto
beginningtomeltsothattheywillhavea glossysurfacewhen

edgeofmouldstoreleaseseal,theninvertontoplate(or,if using
siliconmoulds,pushout).
Storegummiesinair-tightcontainerinfridgeforupto 2
