have to be honest, this was an

aircraft I knew nothing about

until I saw the box art by another

manufacturer and I was smitten

by the ‘Mitten’. So when Zvezda

announced they intended to also

produce it in 1:48th scale, I knew I

had to have one. My research of the

subject then began, which equated

to deciding upon which airframe I

intended to portray and sorting out the

paints required. Along with collecting

photographs from various sources from

which to work from.

Whilst doing this research I became

even more fascinated by this aircraft.
