R AISE & SHINE
No strangers to painting the town red, London’s
brightest lights, including Sir Rocco Forte, Sir Tim
Rice and Princess Dora Loewenstein, flocked to
Save the Children’s centenary gala at the Round-
house. The Princess Royal (in cherry-coloured
satin) opened the event, before handing over to
compère David Walliams. Helena Bonham
Carter took part in a short play, then came dinner
and a silent auction. Actor Luke Evans gave out
hugs to anyone who pledged over £4,000 –
clearly quite the incentive, with a total of £1.6
million raised by the end of the night.Lisa Bilton & Eliane FattalSir Mo Farah & Poppy DelevingnePatricia & Richard CaringErik Torstensson & Hugo HeathcoteThe Hon Stephen Kinnock & Helle Thorning-SchmidtAnna GoulandrisAmanda Pearson, Joely Richardson & Natasha DuffieldChristoph Henkel & Alice HarveyPrincess Angela of Liechtenstein & Sally, Countess of AlbemarlePhotographed by LARA ARNOTTBYS TA NDE R
