½cup(125ml)cream
1 egg, beaten lightly
1 Preheatovento170°C/150°Cfan.
Greasea 20cmsquarecakepan,line
thebaseandsideswithbakingpaper,
extendingpaper2cmoversides.
2 Placebutterandchocolatein
a heatproofbowlovera panof
simmeringwater;stir occasionally
untiljustmelted.
3 Beattheeggandsugarina small
bowlwithanelectricmixeruntil
thickandcreamy.Foldinchocolate
mixtureandsiftedflours.Spread
mixtureintopreparedpan.Bakefor
15 minutes or until just firm to touch.
4 Meanwhile, make cheesecake
topping.

browniebase.Bakefora further
12 minutesoruntilcheesecakeis
justset;coolbeforecutting.Serve
