The Blue-throated blue flycatcher is a rare migratory small bird of Bangladesh. The birdcan be seen singly or in pairs in almost all the forests of Bangladesh. They search for food
in low trees or shrubs growing under trees. Flying insects or insect hatchlings are theirprimary food. During nesting in April to August, they lay their eggs in rock crevices, moss-
covered aisle holes, or bamboo holes with thin roots spread over lichens and dry leaves.
