Olive-backed Pipit
Binomial Name: Anthus hodgsoni
The Olive-backed Pipit, which looks like a sparrow, migrates from Eurasia in winter to ourcountry, including South Asia. The Olive-backed Pipit is a common migratory bird of
Bangladesh. In winter, they roam the country's open forests, forest clearings, and smallbushes, usually singly or in small flocks. They run on the ground and eat insects, their
larvae or seeds. During the breeding season from May to July, they make nests near grassand rocks in their habitat and lay eggs.
