A GOLD 7kg coin with a face
value of £7,000 is the
highlight of the new Royal
Mint James Bond collection.
The Aston Martin DB5 is
engraved into the one-of-a-
kind piece, which has a
diameter of seven inches.
It marks the release of No
Time To Die and is the
largest coin with the highest
face value the Royal Mint
has ever produced.
Designer Laura Clancy
said: “I’ve found it an
incredible privilege – my
career high to date and my
most successful project.”
A 2kg gold coin, with a
face value of £2,000 and a
recommended retail price of
£129,990, is available too.
Also part of the collection
are gold bars embossed with
all 25 Bond movie titles.
More modestly priced are
a trio of coins in various
metal options. Lined up they
show the 007 motif.
The cheapest version is
cupronickel at £13 a coin,
while 2oz gold is £3,985.

“I’m just immensely proud of the

Toyota built only 351 2000GTs,
between 1967 and 1970, and they now
fetch up to £750,000 each.
Craig also spoke about the upcoming
film, his fifth and last as 007. He said:
“What I’ll miss most is the
collaborative process that goes
of so many different things, I loved that.
The Aston V8 that we get back into this
film, the DBS, is a special car.
“I got to drive those quite a lot and
broke a couple of them. Blew the clutch
up. I’m quite heavy-footed.”
Despite being a convertible in the
film, Toyota never actually built a
topless version.

James Bond is known for his pow-
erful and classy motors, with the
secret agent’s aston martins being
favourites for many fans.
But now 007 star Daniel Craig has
revealed that his No.1 is... a Toyota.
The Japanese-made, limited-edition
2000GT appeared in You Only Live
Twice, with Sean Connery, in 1967.
Asked if he had a favourite Bond
car, Craig, the star of next month’s
new film No Time to Die, replied:
“The Toyota 2000GT convertible.
It’s so unusual.”
The British actor, who turned 52
yesterday, said: “That Japanese
