The overall final ranking of
successful universities in the
judo competition at the European
Universities Games in Debrecen –
Miskolc, has Georgian National
University SEU (GEO) in the first
place, followed by Sumy State
University (UKR) in the second
position and the third position
being shared between the HAN
University of Applied Sciences
(NED) and Polytechnic University
of Bucharest (ROU).
The champion of the mixed team
competition of these Games is
Sumy State University (UKR),
who dominated the entire
day of competition. The silver
medal was won by Windesheim
University of Applied Sciences
(NED). Finally, the University of
Orleans (FRA) and Polytechnic
University of Bucharest (ROU)
both won the bronze medal.
EUSA and the city of Warsaw,
Poland, are looking forward
to organizing the next Judo
event as part of the European
Universities Combat Sports
Championship, to be held
between August 22-25, 2025.
