We’ve also seen how ship combat
will look (like a cross between Star
Wars Battlefront and the old Star Fox
games on SNES), and how big the
game world might be. Calling it a ‘game
world’ is a bit harsh. It’s actually a
solar system, with six planets (some
with moons) and a sun to explore. Well,
maybe stay away from the sun.
Combat looks fun, too. Things like
time-stopping bubbles and chained
electricity will help you slow enemies
down, but planning ahead and scoping
out your opposition seems to be just
as important. It’s still early gameplay,

with a New Hope that finally a
game will capture everything
that’s special about the films,
and this could well be that game. It’s slated
for release for ‘holiday 2019’ – which means
in time for Christmas, which would also tie in
with the release of the latest main-canon
Star Wars movie. Its story is that of a surviving
Padawan (Jedi trainee) after the events of
Episode 3, when the Emperor had the Jedis all
