HHave you ever wondered what it takes to design a mascot or logo for your

school? Is there symmetry involved? If so, what kind(s)? Are transformations

used? Which one(s)? In this project, you will design a creative mascot or logo

for your school. You will draw upon your understanding of transformations,

symmetry, coordinate graphs, and integers. Are you ready to begin? 1-2-3 DRAW!

What You’ll Do

You have been hired to design a mascot or logo for your school. You will

need to fi nd the amount it will cost to make the mascot or logo. You will

then create a presentation that displays your mascot or logo to share with

your class.

Procedure

1. Brainstorm about 5 to 8 different ideas. Then narrow down your list to
   your number one choice. Create drawings and coordinate grids with
   illustrations of your design.
