Paraphrasing: Transitional devices
Transitional devices are particularly useful paraphrasing tools. When using such a device,
it is important to pay attention to how the particular word functions in a sentence.
- Acoordinating conjunction joins two independent clauses.
Computer networks are expensive, but their widespread use is inevitable. - Asubordinating conjunction begins a dependent clause (which is not a complete sentence
in itself ).

There are three main uses of transitional devices: - Cause and efect
