Baseball
No matter how accomplished you are in the field, no matter
your speed from home to first or in the outfield, no matter
how strong or accurate your throwing arm (unless you are a
pitcher), if you can’t hit the baseball, you won’t be recruited.
Learn to hit. If you can hit, learn to hit better. Batting cages,
baseball camps that emphasize hitting, hitting coaches, hit-
ting instructional videos and books, batting tees, and wiffle
balls should be a part of your preparation to be a successfully
recruited baseball prospect.
Baseball camps and summer leagues are a must for the
aspiring intercollegiate baseball prospect. Your video must
emphasize your hitting ability. If you are a pitcher, you must
emphasize the speed of your fastball as well as its location.
