I awoke in a room filled with the scent of fresh lavender. I sat up quickly and my
headache from the sudden rush. I looked around dizzily and took in my surroundings.A
big yellow chair, a green frilly rug, a small circular table on the rug and a bunch of big
tapestries with inspirational quotes and stuff like save our planet on them. There was a
soft creeking sound that came from the door and Erebus popped his head through.
“You're awake!” he said in a sort of whispery voice. “Where am i?'' I asked. He came in
and sat down on the big cushy chair.
“Well, that's kind of what I need to explain to you..” he said. “Have you ever
noticed how you have streaks in your hair that you can't take out and that you have
eyes that are so dark they seem darker than black?”. “Well yeah it's kinda hard not to
notice..'' I replied “Well... you are part of a secret world. A world where everything is
different. Where everyone has their own very different features and everyone here has
to have the name of a god or a demigod or goddess. That's because we are
gods,goddesses or demigods. Zeus is one. He was once our amazing leader. The
legends say Zeus died killing Eris and with his last breath he made this world. That's
true. But a couple years ago we found a way to bring him back and we did. But with him
came Ares. The world didn't have tigers before that but they all think they did because
of Ares. Ares turned Zeus into what he is now. And now you know. You're a goddess
Nyx.”
Then whoopee for me!, Everything went black again.
