you, so that they might dispute withyou concerning it before your Lord?”Do you not understand?٧٧

ا مَ ٱلل
َ
و
َ
و نر ُّ سِ ا يُ م َ مُ

لي َ عْ

نِلعْيُ
77 Do they not know that Allah knowswhat they conceal and what theyreveal?٧٨

ونمُ
َ
ل يَعْ
َ
لا
َ
ون
ُّ
ي
ِّ

ُ
أمْ
ُ
هْنمِ
َ
و
َ
ب
ٰ
تَكِ
ْ
ٱل
َّ
ىِانمَ
َ

ونن ُّ

يَ ظ

لا
ِ
إمْ
ُ
ه
ْ
ن
ِ
إ
َ
و
78 And among them are uneducatedwho know the Scripture only throughhearsay, and they only speculate.٧٩

ول
ُ
هِ يَق

هِ ٱلل

ا ًنمَ ۦ يِل

ليْ

َ
ومْ
ِ
يهدِيْ
َ
أتْ
َ
بتَ

يلاِل

بسِ

ا يَ كم َّ

79 So woe to those who write theScripture with their own hands, andthen say, “This is from Allah,” thatthey may exchange it for a littleprice. Woe to them for what theirhands have written, and woe to themfor what they earn.ا ٨٠

80 And they say, “The Fire will nottouch us except for a number ofdays.” Say, “Have you received apromise from Allah—Allah neverbreaks His promise—or are yousaying about Allah what you do notknow?”هِ ٨١

كَ أئِ

ۖ ارٱلن َّ

دلِ
ٰ
َ
ا خيهَ فِ مْ
ُ
ه
81 Indeed, whoever commitsmisdeeds, and becomes besiegedby his iniquities—these are theinmates of the Fire, wherein they willdwell forever.٨٢

َ

َّ
ٱل

ُ
لعَمِ
َ
و
۟
وانُ
َ
ام
َ
تِ ء
ٰ
حَِل
ٰ
َكئِ ٱ ل ص َّ
ٓ
ٰ
َ
و۟ ل

ُب
ٰ
حَصْ
َ
ةِ جَ ن َّ أ
ْ
ۖ ٱ ل
َ
ون
ُ
دلِ
ٰ
َ
ا خيهَ فِ مْ
ُ
ه
82 As for those who believe and dorighteous deeds—these are theinhabitants of Paradise, whereinthey will dwell forever.٨٣

رعْم م ُّ نتُ

ومْ
ُ
نك
ِّ

ً
يلالِ
َ
ق
83 We made a covenant with theChildren of Israel: “Worship none butAllah; and be good to parents, andrelatives, and orphans, and theneedy; and speak nicely to people;and pray regularly, and give alms.”Then you turned away, except for afew of you, recanting.
