36 Bring back our ancestors, if you

are truthful.”

وَ ٣٧

ين

ا ن

ك مْ

أ

37 Are they better, or the people of

Tubba and those before them? We

annihilated them. They were

evildoers.

وَ

ٰ

وَ مَٱلس َّ

َ

ض

ْ

ر

َ

ْ

ا مَ ٱلأ

ُ

ه

َ

ن

ْ

ا بَيمَوَ

َ

ين

ِ

ب

ِ

ع

ٰ

َ

ل

38 We did not create the heavens

and the earth and what is between

them to play.

ٰ

َ

ن

ق

َ

ل

َ

ا خمَ

ِّ

حَ ق

ْ

ٱ ل

ٰ

لوَ

َ

ك

َ

َّ

ن

ِ

ك

َ

ون

ُ

م

َ

ل

ْ

يَ ع

39 We created them only for a

specific purpose, but most of them

do not know.

مَ يَ وْ ٤٠

ٱل

َ

ين

عمَ

ْ

ج

َ

ْ

ُ

ه

ت

40 The Day of Sorting Out is the

appointed time for them all.

مْ لامَ يَ وْ

ُ

ه

َ

لاا وَ

ًٔ

ـ

ْ

ي

َ

ى ش

ً

لوْى عَن م َّ

ً

لوْى مَ نِ

ْ

غ

ُ

ي

َ

ونرُنصَ يُ

41 The Day when no friend will avail

a friend in any way, and they will not

be helped.

مَحِ ن ر َّ مَ ٤٢

لا

ِ

إ

ُ

ه

َّ

ۚ ٱلل

ُ

ه

َّ

ن

ِ

وَ ۥ إ

ُ

ه

ُ

يز

ِ

عَ ز

ْ

يمُ حِ ٱلر َّ ٱل

42 Except for him upon whom Allah

has mercy. He is the Mighty, the

Merciful.

43 The Tree of Bitterness.

44 The food of the sinner.

٤٥

ى ى فِ لِ ٱل

ون

ُ

ط

ب

ْ

ٱل

45 Like molten lead; boiling inside the

bellies.

٤٦

ي مِ حَ مِ ك

ْ

ٱ ل

46 Like the boiling of seething water.

٤٧

ُ

ذ

ُ

ُ

وه

ُ

ءِ لتِٱعْ

ٓ

َ

س

ٰ

ى

َ

ل

ِ

ي مِ جَ حِ إ

ْ

ٱ ل

47 Seize him and drag him into the

midst of Hell!

٤٨

أ رَ

َ

َ

ف

وا

ُّ

ب

ُ

صم َّ

ُ

ۦ ث

ِ

اب

َ

عَ ذ

ْ

ن

ِ

ي مِ م

ِ

حَ م

ٱ ل

48 Then pour over his head the

suffering of the Inferno!

ن تَ ٤٩

َّ

ن

ِ

ْ

ق

ُ

ذ

ُ

يز

ِ

عَ ز

ْ

يمُ ٱل

ِ

ر

َ

ك

ْ

ٱل

49 Taste! You who were powerful and

noble.

هِ ٥٠

ِ

م بنتُ

ُ

ا ك

َ

ا م

َ

ذ

ٰ

هَ

َّ

ن

ِ

ۦ إ

َ

ونرُتَمْ

َ

ت

50 This is what you used to doubt.

أامٍ

قى مَ

51 As for the righteous, they will be in

a secure place.

يعُ و ٍتَ

ٰ

ى جَ نفِ

52 Amidst gardens and springs.
