ٱلل

ن

ٰ

ي مِ حِ ٱ ل ر َّ مَحْٱلر َّ

In the name of Allah, the Gracious,

the Merciful.

و

ِ

رجْ

َ

ف

ْ

ٱل

1 By the daybreak.

٢

ٍ

ر

ْ

عَ ش

ٍ

ال

َ

ي

َ

ل

َ

و

2 And ten nights.

وَ ٣

ِ

ع

ْ

ف

َّ

وَ ٱلش

ِ

ر

ْ

توَ

ْ

ٱل

3 And the even and the odd.

٤

َ

و

ِ

ل

ْ

ي

َّ

ٱل

ِ

ر

ْ

ا يَ س

َ

ذ

ِ

إ

4 And the night as it recedes.

مٌ ٥

َ

س

َ

كَ قِل

ٰ

َ

ى ذ فِ

ْ

لهَ

ٍ

رجْى حِ ذِ

ِّ

ل

5 Is there in this an oath for a rational

person?

عَ ادٍ ٦

ِ

كَ ب ُّب رَ

َ

عَ ل

َ

ف

َ

ف

ْ

ي

َ

كرَ

َ

تمْ

َ

ل

َ

أ

6 Have you not seen how your Lord

dealt with Aad?

اتِ ٧

َ

ذمَرَ

ِ

ادِ مَعِ إ

ْ

ٱل

7 Erum of the pillars.

ىتِ ٨

َّ

ا هَ ٱل

ُ

ل

ْ

ث مِ

ْ

ق

َ

ل

ْ

خ يُ مْ

َ

دِ ى فِ ل

ٰ

َ

ل

ِ

ب

ْ

ٱ ل

8 The like of which was never

created in the land.

٩

َ

ود

ُ

م

َ

ثوَ

َ

ينذِ

َّ

ٱل

۟

و ا

ُ

رَ جَ ا ب

ْ

خٱلص َّ

ِ

ادِ وَ ب

ْ

ٱل

9 And Thamood—those who carved

the rocks in the valley.

ى ذِ ١٠

َ

ن

ْ

عَ ورْفِ

َ

ادِ و

َ

ت

ْ

و

َ

ْ

ٱلأ

10 And Pharaoh of the Stakes.

ينذِ

َّ

ى فِ ٱل

۟

اوْ

َ

غ

َ

دِ ط

ٰ

َ

ل

ِ

ب

ْ

ٱل

11 Those who committed excesses in

the lands.

ا ١٢

َ

ي ه

ِ

ف

۟

و ا

ُ

ر

َ

ث

ْ

ك

َ

أ

َ

ف

َ

اد

َ

س

َ

ف

ْ

ٱل

12 And spread much corruption

therein.

١٣

ٍ

اب

َ

عَ ذ

َ

طوْ

َ

كَ س ُّب رَ مْ

ِ

ه

ْ

ي

َ

عَ لب َّ صَ

َ

ف

13 So your Lord poured down upon

them a scourge of punishment.

١٤

َ

كَ ل

َّ

بر َ

َّ

ن

ِ

إ

ِ

ادصَ رْ

ِ

م

ْ

ٱل

14 Your Lord is on the lookout.

ا ١٥

َّ

م

َ

أ

َ

ف

ُ

ن

ٰ

َ

ِنس

ْ

ا ا مَ ٱلإ

َ

ذ

ِ

إ

ُ

ه

ٰ

ى

َ

ل

َ

ت

ْ

ٱب

ُ

ه

ُّ

ۥبرَ

ُ

همَ رَ

ْ

ك

َ

أ

َ

ۥ ف

ُ

همَ

َّ

ع

َ

ۥ نوَ

ِ

نمَرَ

ْ

ك

َ

أ

ٓ

ى

ِّ

ب رَ

ُ

ول

ُ

ق

َ

ي

َ

ف

15 As for man, whenever his Lord

tests him, and honors him, and

prospers him, he says, “My Lord has

honored me.”

ا ا مَ ١٦

ذ

ِ

إ

ٓ

ا

َّ

م

َ

أوَ

ُ

ه

ٰ

ى

َ

ل

َ

ت

ْ

ٱب

ُ

ه

َ

ق

ْ

ز

ِ

ر

ِ

ه

ْ

ي

َ

عَ لرَ

َ

د

َ

ق

َ

ۥ ف

ُ

ول

ُ

ق

َ

ي

َ

ف

ِ

ن

َ

ن

ٰ

َ

ه

َ

أ

ٓ

ى

ِّ

برَ

16 But whenever He tests him, and

restricts his livelihood for him, he

says, “My Lord has insulted me.”

١٧

َ

ون

ُ

م

ِ

ر

ْ

ك

ُ

ت

َّ

ۖ بَل لا

َّ

لا

َ

يمَ ك

ِ

ت

َ

ي

ْ

ٱل

17 Not at all. But you do not honor

the orphan.
