5 Does he think that no one haspower over him?٦

6 He says, “I have used up so muchmoney.”٧

7 Does he think that no one seeshim?٨

8 Did We not give him two eyes?٩

ي

9 And a tongue, and two lips?١٠

ي

َ
هوَ
ِ

ْ

ٱلن
10 And We showed him the twoways?١١

لا
َ
حَ مَ ف

ت

ٱ ق
َ
ة
َ
ب
َ
عَ ق
ْ
ٱل
11 But he did not brave the ascent.ا م َكَ ١٢
ٰ
ىرَ
ْ
د
َ
أ
ٓ
امَ وَ
ُ
ة
َ
ب
َ
عَ ق
ْ
ٱل
12 And what will explain to you whatthe ascent is?ةٍ ١٣

َ
ق
َ
رك ُّ
َ
ف
13 The freeing of a slave.ٍة ١٤
َ
ب
َ
غ
ْ
س
َ
ى مذ ِ
ٍ
م
ْ
ى يَ وف ِ مٌ
ٰ
عَ
ْ
ط
ِ
إ
ْ
و
َ
أ
14 Or the feeding on a day of hunger.ٍة َ ب ١٥
َ
ر
ْ
ق
َ
ا م
َ
ي مً ا ذِيَ ت
15 An orphan near of kin.بَةٍ ١٦
َ
رتْ
َ
ا م
َ
ا ذًينكِ
ْ
س مِ
ْ
و
َ
أ
16 Or a destitute in the dust.١٧
َ
ن مِ
َ
ان
َ
كم َّ
ُ
ث
َ
ينذِ
َّ
ٱل
ِ
ب
۟
ا
ْ
و
َ
اص
َ
و
َ
ت
َ
و
۟
وانُ
َ
ام
َ
ء
ِ
ر
ْ
بٱلص َّ
ِ
ب
۟
ا
ْ

َ
اص
َ
و
َ
ت
َ
ةِ و
َ
حَ مرْ
َ
م
ْ
ٱ ل
17 Then he becomes of those whobelieve, and advise one another topatience, and advise one another tokindness.ُب ١٨
ٰ
حَصْ
َ
كَ أئِ
ٓ
ٰ
َ
و۟ ل
ُ
ةِنَمَ أ
ْ
يمَ
ْ
ٱل
18 These are the people ofhappiness.وَ ١٩
َ
ينذِ
َّ
ُب ٱل
ٰ
حَصْ
َ
أمْ
ُ
ا ه
َ
نِت
ٰ
ايَ
َٔ
ـ
ِ
ب
۟
وا
ُ
ر
َ
ف
َ
ةِمَ ك
َٔ
ـ
ْ
شمَ
ْ
ٱل
19 But as for those who defy Ourrevelations—these are the people ofmisery.٢٠

ؤ

ٌ
ار
َ
ن
ْ
م
ِ
ه
ْ
ي
َ
عَل
ۢ
ٌ
ة
َ
دصَ
20 Upon them is a padlocked Fire.ِم
ْ
س
ِ
هِ ب
َّ
ٱلل
ِ
ن
ٰ
َ
ي مِ حِ ٱ ل ر َّ محْٱلر َّ
In the name of Allah, the Gracious,the Merciful.سِمْ وَ ١
َّ
ا ٱلش
َ

ٰ
حَ ى
ُ
ضوَ
1 By the sun and its radiance.
