again, and now I check my stats in Google Analytics
for all of my sites once a week, as well as my
affiliate numbers and my own product sales. Get
used to knowing what your bottom line is. As they
say, what can be measured can be improved.


  1. Continue to do keyword research on a regular basis.
    The Internet runs on keywords, and this must
    become the language of your business.

Start with your core phrase for your niche, such as
'real estate' or 'scuba diving', and then work out
from there. The idea is to find as many words and
phrases as possible that your prospects are using
when they search for the problem for which you
have a solution. I am always interested in the core
phrases, as well as what we refer to as 'long tail
keywords', those that are five or six words in length
that have fewer than a thousand searches each
month. If someone searches for 'scuba diving
lessons in Honolulu' they are most likely ready to
sign up today. When I was just starting out I
printed out a list of about 20 keyword phrases,
based on the research I did using Google's keyword
