Luigi Bonaffini has translated Dino Campana (Orphic
Songs and Other Poems); Mario Luzi (For the Baptism of
Our Fragments); Giose Rimanelli (Moliseide and Alien
Cantica); Giuseppe Jovine (The Scraper and Anony¬mous
Molisan Folk Tales); Achille Serrao (The Crevice); Eugenio
Cirese, Albino Pierro and other dialect poets, and has co-
edited Poesia dialettale del Molise, a trilingual anthology of
poetry in the Molisan dialect. He is a professor of Italian at
Brooklyn College.
Novella Bonaffini has translated poems from the Molisan
dialect for the anthology Dialect Poetry from Molise. Texts
and Criticism. She is a student at the University of Rome.
