- Confirm that the BP monitor power cord is plugged in at the power source and
on the back of the BP monitor. - Confirm that the computer cable for the BP monitor is securely connected at the
back of the BP monitor. - Confirm that the BP microphone and airhose are securely connected to the back
of the BP monitor. - Confirm that the cable from the treadmill is securely connected to the back of
the treadmill controller. - Confirm that the treadmill power cord is securely plugged in to the power
source. - Check that the digital thermometer has registered the room temperature.
- Check that the treadmill belt is centered in the roller.
- Visually inspect walking belt for hazards.
- Clean surface of belt with disinfectant wipes.
- Clean both sides of all BP cuffs with disinfectant wipes. (Cuffs are also wiped
after each exam.) - Visually inspect BP cuffs and hoses for cracks and tears.
- Check that each BP cuff is hanging properly from the clip on the grid. The
microphone wires (taped areas on air hose below cuff) should be hanging free -
not twisted or bent. - Check that all shoes are in the shoe rack.
- Confirm that supplies (electrodes, alcohol, and abrasive pads) are stocked for
today’s session.

Complete all daily checks.

Check grade of treadmill. See Section 2.1.2.2.
