Rekha Chaudhari has ring in the New Year
with some good news – she has been chosen
the Global Wellness Ambassador for India by
Global Wellness Day (GWD), a volunteer-driven
project that aims at creating awareness about
the value of life and importance of healthy
living. Born and brought up in a small town in
Maharashtra, Rekha is now one of the most
well-known spa and wellness expert in India. In
2007, Rekha founded JCKRC Spa Destination
in partnership with JC Kapur; the company is
a pioneer in the Indian spa industry. Being an
expert for more than two decades, Rekha has a
strong understanding of the spa industry and
has played an instrumental role in providing
complete solutions in the luxury segment
under the JCKRC banner. Her company imports
and distributes several international products
and technologies in the Indian wellness
market. They are also the co-founders of
Caressa Day Spa, Mumbai. Rekha has received
much acclaim in the form of awards for the role
she has played in the wellness industry.

Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Scheduled between

tribes, designer Tarun Tahiliani’s new collection
reveals clothes that transform into a breathtaking aria
of fantasy and romance. “I have always been inspired
by the way the people of this region wrap themselves

that,” he said. The collection, in luminous pastels
as well as bright colours, is a clever mix of couture
and craftsmanship and makes the use of innovative

prints and sensual draping.
