Sew a linen F rectangle

to the top edge of the

petals on the two shorter stems.

Each of your flower blocks

should now measure 23^11 ⁄ 2 x8^1 ⁄ 2 in

from raw edge to raw edge.

Sew a linen D strip

to the right edge of

each fl ower block. Press. Join

the three fl ower blocks together,

side by side. To the left edge

of the three-fl ower panel, sew the

linen H strip. Press. The completed

flower panel should now measure

231 ⁄ 2 x 35in from raw edge to raw

edge.

Grass

Draw a diagonal pencil line

from corner to corner on

the wrong side of seven linen

I squares. Match each of these

squares with a 3^1 ⁄ 2 in green or light-

value pink and green print square,

right sides together. Sew^1 ⁄ 4 in on

either side of the line. Cut the

square on the line, open out the

fabrics and press.
