Modi cations and Other Options



  • If you have pain in the knees or hips, place a block under the sitz
    bones for support.

  • For an added side stretch, reach your hand on the
     oor to the left when the right leg is on top. Bring
    the right arm up and over, expanding across
    the right ribs (1). Repeat on the other side.

  • For half shoelace, extend your left leg
    toward straight with the right leg bent
    over the top. Reach your hands for-
    ward, grabbing your left leg or foot,
    and coming into a forward bend
    (2). Repeat on the other side.
