VIRASANA: HERO


This posture is good for all pranayama practices, especially breath of
 re (page 193), kapalabhati (page 194), and alternating nostril breathing
(page 192).



  • Bring the knees together and spread the feet wider than the hips.

  • Sit between the feet.

  • Sit up with a tall straight spine.

  • Relax the shoulders back and down.

  • Relax the hands, palms downward on top of the thighs.
