VIRASANA: HERO
This posture is good for all pranayama practices, especially breath of
re (page 193), kapalabhati (page 194), and alternating nostril breathing
(page 192).
- Bring the knees together and spread the feet wider than the hips.
- Sit between the feet.
- Sit up with a tall straight spine.
- Relax the shoulders back and down.
- Relax the hands, palms downward on top of the thighs.
