SEATED ON A CHAIR
This posture is good for all pranayama practices, especially ujjayi (page
190) and sama vritti (page 191).
- Sit comfortably toward the middle or front of a chair.
- Place the feet at on the oor and spread them about shoulder-
width apart. - Sit up with a tall straight spine.
- Relax the shoulders back and down.
- Rest the hands in the lap.
