SEATED ON A CHAIR
This posture is good for all pranayama practices, especially ujjayi (page
190) and sama vritti (page 191).


  • Sit comfortably toward the middle or front of a chair.

  • Place the feet  at on the  oor and spread them about shoulder-
    width apart.

  • Sit up with a tall straight spine.

  • Relax the shoulders back and down.

  • Rest the hands in the lap.
