Mountain Pose Series (Tadasana)


14 b. Exhale, bend the
knees, and lower into a
full squat.

14 d. Exhale and slowly re-
turn the arms to the sides
into mountain pose. Re-
peat two more times. On
the third round, hold the
full squat and take three or
four breaths.

14 c. Inhale, straighten the
legs, and return to stand-
ing.

14 a. Inhale and lift the
arms straight out in front,
with the hands shoulder
height and facing down.

15 d. Exhale and slowly re-
turn the arms to the sides
in mountain pose. Repeat
two more times. During the
third round, hold the toe bal-
ance and take three or four
breaths.

15 c. Inhale and return
the heels to the floor.

15 b. Exhale, lift the
heels, and balance on
the tips of the toes.

15 a. Inhale and slowly
sweep the arms over-
head, interlacing the
fingers and turning the
palms facing up.

16 a. Inhale and slowly sweep
the arms overhead, interlacing
the fingers and at the same time
balancing on the tips of the toes.

16 b. Exhale and slowly lower
both the arms and heels. Repeat
two more times. On the third
round, hold the toe balance and
take three or four breaths.
