[Stafford, Phyllis]. I was extra-terrified
’cause they’re powerhouses. I remember
meeting Michelle up in hair and makeup,
then Joshua later on the set. They were
both so sweet. Joshua made me feel less
nervous and helped rest my heart rate a
little bit.”
First Scene: “Michelle fell in that
scene when she was running over to
Summer’s bedside in the hospital. I was so
scared. I thought, ‘Oh, my God! What if
she’s hurt?’ But she handled it like such a
pro and got right back up, laughed at her-
self and kept doing the scene.”
First Costume: “I was in a hospital
gown with little makeup but it’s always
nerve-wracking, full hair and makeup or not.”

(Nikki): “I was so scared that I would

mess it up and then cry and run and hide in

my dressing room, but they were both so

sweet. They’re just so generous, knowing

that a new person is coming on and trying

to make you comfortable. Eric tries to make

you laugh, always doing some silly voice,

and Melody is just the sweetest thing ever.”

First Crying Scene: “It was as

soon as Summer got out of the hospital and

found out that Chelsea lost her baby and

that the accident was Summer’s fault. I’ve

never had a really hard time with being able

to cry. There’s only been a couple of times

where I’m like, ‘I just can’t get the dang

tears!’ and I get so frustrated with myself.”

First Slapping Scene: “I slapped

Melissa Ordway [Abby]. I was barefoot

and Melissa was in high heels and there’s

already a nice height difference between us,

so I really had to reach up to slap her.”
