A family business based in Cornwall,
Teagle Machinery will be exhibiting its
new range of forestry mulchers at the
Expo.
Teagle Machinery has been
distributing high-quality flail mowers
in the UK from Italian manufacturer
Berti for almost 20 years. Through a
policy of continuous improvement and
aftersales support, Teagle and Berti have
proven to be a winning combination in the
UK forestry sector, supplying a substantial
number of machines to a customer base
which includes the MoD and the Forestry
Commission.
For the 2019 season, Teagle launched a
number of new models suitable for skid-
steer loaders, tractors from 50 HP to 350
HP and excavators from 6–35 tonnes.
All models incorporate high-performance
wear-resistant steel in their manufacture
to provide the operator with robust
construction and long-life reliability.
A choice of fixed tungsten
carbide or ‘swinging’
hammers enable a wide
variety of vegetation
and timber to 50 cm
circumference to be
mulched by the Teagle
forestry mulchers. Hydraulically adjustable
rear hoods ensure an optimum flow of
material.
2019 tractor models feature automatic
belt tensioning and hydraulic push
guards as standard. Front/rear operation,centrifugal
‘soft-start’
clutches within
the drive-
line and self
-aligning PTO
attachment
are just a few of
the options available with the new series to
provide additional efficiency in the task.
