Of all the square-body rigs, Ryan Kennelly’s first-gen K5 Blazer was one of the
most eye-catching, with a goldenrod paintjob, soft top, and hidden front winch.

Derek Rickford, hailing from Markleeville, California,
brought his ’00 Jimmy on 37s to the Behind the
Rocks trail. His 5.7L V-8 sends power through a
4L60E and a NorthWest Fab Eco Box before it is
split up at the NP241 T-case. Other goodies include
a 14-bolt rearend, Dana 44 front axle, 14-inch
Fox coilovers, PSC ram-assist steering, Badlands
9,000-pound winch, and custom-built armor.

Amber Mayo swished side to side a few times
before waving at the camera on the Gatekeeper
of the Behind the Rocks trail.

The folks at Mickey Thompson weren’t afraid to
test out the new Baja Boss tires on the ledges of
the Top of the World trail.
